Calligramme

- Jaide Edwards Embracing that I am a Pisces, I am unique because of the difficulties I faced as a baby due to my brachial plexus, which shaped my life from the beginning. Despite experiencing chronic pain, my disability inspired a strong will and led me to pursue a career for public relations and journalism. I tried to incorporate the Pisces symbol into my artistic expression while exploring ways to set it apart from the traditional interpretation. This graphic depiction not only conveys the astrological essence but also the courage that comes from overcoming adversity in life. Using Illustrator on adobe design software, I created this profound graphic that represents my path as a Pisces. With the anchor pen tool, I carefully sketched the picture. Precise sentence arrangement was made easier by the direct selection tool, which improved the visual storytelling. By utilizing the type on path feature, I was able to include text into each layout with ease and create a coherent story. Usin

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR I think I'll have trouble learning how to use the pin tool after seeing the video above. I want to learn how to make logos in Illustrator instead than Picsart or Canva because I am a graphic designer. I've heard that using Illustrator to create logos will result in designs that are clear, fluid, and more powerful. To provide my clients with beautiful designs, this tool is really demanding and necessitates a high level of consistency. What I do believe, though, is that after I practice more and continue to pay attention to all the information I need to know, understanding all the curves, angles, and techniques will be beneficial. Using types and fonts to deal with text is something that will definitely become simple, in my opinion, after seeing this video. For my business, being able to utilize fonts and texts effectively is crucial when creating flyers. It's important to know which font works best for the flyer and how to utilize it correctly. Because of

The Internet, a global network connecting millions of computers, has a rich history. Conceived in the late 1960s, it was a project initiated by the United States Department of Defense. The groundwork for the Internet's architecture was laid by visionaries like J.C.R. Licklider and implemented by a team led by Robert Taylor and Larry Roberts. Initially designed for military and academic purposes, the Internet aimed to create a decentralized communication system resilient to partial outages. Today, it stands as a colossal platform for communication, commerce, and entertainment. In 1989, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, a British scientist, envisioned the World Wide Web as a way to facilitate information sharing among researchers at CERN. By 1991, the Web became publicly accessible, allowing users to access documents linked through hypertext. Originally serving academic and scientific purposes, the Web has transformed into a multimedia platform, influencing how we access information, communic

Who is Jaide?

Hey! I'm a 19-year-old from Neptune Jersey who was born on March 12, 2004, and I'm excited to see what this digital media class has in store for my artistic journey. Brachial plexus struggles shaped my journey and gave me the courage to transform obstacles into possibilities. Being unable to participate in self care activities or sports, I turned to the design industry for comfort. I came to The University of Tampa to have a degree in Journalism and Public Relations.   Enrolling in this class, my primary expectation is to master Adobe skills, a game changer for my graphic design business. Adobe's suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator, holds the key to unlocking new dimensions of creativity. It's not just about pixels it's about transforming my ideas into visually compelling stories.   One day, when I was reading a book, I felt inspired to think back on my life's journey. My poetry book, "Shy But Not So Shy," a true story, was the result of this
