Tag Brush

This profound connection was creatively explored through the use of digital tools, particularly Adobe Illustrator. The original drawing honored the hummingbird's cultural significance and the spiritual beliefs attached to it by capturing its delicate outlines. The artwork gained a distinct emotional depth when the tag brush image a potent representation of strength, power, and perseverance was incorporated. By overlaying this image over the original illustration and skillfully adjusting its effects, the artwork gained more emotional resonance in addition to increased visual impact. In this case, the process of creating art enabled me to integrate my cultural heritage, personal experience, and a modern representation of strength. With its soaring appearance and complex meaning, the hummingbird enables the interaction of different religious perspectives, family relationships, and creative expression. Propaganda Poster

My own experience with the Brachial Plexus, a born with injury that causes disabilities, served as the basis for my propaganda poster. Growing up with this hidden disability, I carried a weight that most people didn't notice as I went through life. I used to keep my illness a secret until I realized how little other people saw my problems. But as the years went by, I realized how powerful telling my story could be. I found the proverb "Not all Disabilities are Visible" to be incredibly meaningful; it served as an important reminder that many wars are fought in silence. I created a special phrase that perfectly expresses the essence of my journey, which is one of resiliency, strength, and the significance of recognizing invisible hardships, since I wanted to deliver this message in my own special way. By promoting a more compassionate and inclusive society, I wish to increase awareness of and understanding for the many people who deal with hidden obstacles through this p...

LOGO: The Doctor Bird

  - Jaide Edwards In the creation of my hummingbird-inspired artwork, I explored into the rich cultural history of Jamaica, drawing inspiration from the national symbol, the Doctor Bird. Rooted in the beliefs of the Arawak people, who considered it the 'God bird' with magical powers and the reincarnation of departed souls, this majestic creature holds profound significance. My personal connection to the Doctor Bird deepened through my mother's choice to have it permanently etched on her leg as a tattoo, serving as a lifelong reminder of our blessings. This symbolic resonance fueled the creation process, leading me to explore the intricate details of the bird's form using digital tools such as Adobe Illustrator. Employing the pen tool and curvature tool, I meticulously traced the hummingbird's image, accentuating its curves and elegance. The selection tool and stroke tool were then employed to breathe life into the illustration, embodying the spirit of the Doctor Bir...
